JCH 1 Moonlight by New Men 2007

JCH 1 Moonlight PRESENTS #01 'MOONLIGHT' MADE WITH MY MUSIC-PLAYER VERSION 4 ORIGINALLY COMPOSED WITH AN AMIGA 500 AND AEGIS SONIX V1.4, DATE UNKNOWN. INFORMATION FOR PROGRAMMERS ONLY: $8800-$934C, INIT $88D9, DRIVE $892C. PLAYING TIME 2:43, ENDS AND WRAPS - . BREAK-OUT GAME....THE MUSIC'S CRAZY BUT I LIKE IT! ...JOHANNES BJERREGAARD, FRED GRAY (ALSO QUALITY), EEEHHM! I THINK I'LL STOP THE LIST NOW BEFORE IT GETS VERY ANNOYING! SORRY FOR MY BUGGED BRAIN..... I'M NOT GONNA SEND ANY ORDINARY GREETINGS OTHER THAN TO MY GROUP NEW MEN, CAUSE I HAVE NO(!) CONTACTS! BUT MAYBE YOU WANT TO CHANGE ALL THAT? I DON'T HAVE MUCH SOFTWARE TO SWAP, BUT PERHAPS A LITTLE TUNE FOR SOME SOFTWARE WILL HELP? ANYWAY IT'S A LITTLE DIFFERENT THAN ALL THOSE SOUND-MON TUNES!! IT'S JUST LIKE ELECTRO-SOUND, YOU CAN ALWAYS HEAR WHEN.....WHAT AM I SAYING?!?! WE ALL HAVE OUR DISTINCTIVE SOUNDS, DON'T WE! YOU CAN ALWAYS HEAR WHEN IT'S ROB OR MARTIN OR DAVID OR FRED OR MICHAEL OR... ALL RIGHT, BUT HAVE A LOOK IN $E000, AT LEAST TO GET A LITTLE SURPRISE! BUT ANYWAY....I MUST BE GOING! HOPE YOU HANGED ON SO FAR....NEXT DEMO WILL BE CALLED 'SORRY', LOOK OUT FOR IT. - JCH OF NEW MEN...I'LL BET YOU HAVEN'T HEARD ANYTHING ABOUT ME BEFORE, BUT WITH THE CREATION OF THIS MUSIC-PLAYER I'M GONNA CHANGE ALL THAT! I'M THE ONLY PROGRAMMER OF NEW MEN UNTIL JUST RECENTLY WITH THE ARRIVAL OF EXCELL - MAYBE YOU'VE SEEN SOME DEMOS FROM THIS GUY, I'VE EVEN GIVEN HIM SOME OF MY MUSIC... PLEASE DON'T TURN THIS OFF JUST RIGHT NOW, I KNOW THIS DEMO ISN'T ANYTHING SPECIAL, BUT IT'S THE MUSIC THAT'S IMPORTANT FOR ME NOW, NOT THE DEMO. HOWEVER IT DID TAKE ME A DAY OR TWO TO OPEN THAT BLASTED SIDE-BORDER, NO WAY I WANTED TO RIP OUT 1001 CREWS ROUTINES, THAT'S NOT ME BABE! PROBLEM WAS TO GET RID OF THOSE CHARACTER LINES, IT WAS SOLVED BY USING $D011 TO TURN OFF THE SCREEN WITHOUT REALLY DOING IT...SOUNDS CRAZY DOESN'T IT ? BELIEVE ME IT IS! CAUSE IT'S IMPOSSIBLE TO USE ANYTHING ELSE THAN BLACK UNDER THE SPRITES! NEVER MIND, IT STILL LOOKS NICE. NOW SOME FACTS ABOUT THIS MUSIC-PLAYER! THIS VERSION 4 DOES USE ALL TOO MUCH RASTER-TIME AS YOU CAN SEE!! NOT THE WORST EVER THOUGH, HAVE YOU EVER SEEN JOHANNES BJERREGAARDS RASTER-TIME IN TIGER MISSION ? GOOD GOD, JOHANNES, HOW COULD YOU DO IT!? THE MUZAK IS VERY GOOD THOUGH... AT LEAST IT'S GOOD TO SEE YOU IRONED IT OUT COMPLETELY IN EAGLES... WELL, TO GET BACK TO MY RASTER-TIME, I CAN TELL YOU THAT IT GETS A LITTLE BETTER IN VERSION 5 SOON (AT THE MOMENT I HAVE WRITTEN 5 TUNES ON THE 64 SO FAR, THE LAST 2 WITH VERSION 5). I MANAGED TO CUT DOWN SOME LOOPS IN VERSION 5, AND IT LOOKS MUCH BETTER THERE. ALL COMPOSING IS DONE WITH MY AMIGA 500 AND AEGIS SONIX V1.4 (WELL, THIS ONE WAS. I NOW USE V2.0! IT HAS MUCH BETTER FILE-ACHIEVEMENT)...I CAN TELL YOU THAT THERE'S 24 BEATY MUZAK PIECES LIKE THIS ON MY AMIGA DISKS. ALL NEWER ONES USES ONLY THREE VOICES ON THE AMIGA, TO SIMPLIFY THE TRANSFER TO THE GOOD OLD 64'! (24 PIECES, BUT STILL GROWING...DATE IS NOW 22/7-1987!) THERE'S A LOT OF ADVANTAGES BY USING SONIX TO CREATE 64 SONGS...ONE IS, THAT I HAVE THEM ON BOTH THE AMIGA AND 64 AT ONCE, SECOND THAT SONIX IS AMAZINGLY EASY TO USE...IT TAKES ME TWO TO FIVE HOURS TO COMPOSE A SONG LIKE THIS (DEPENDING ON THE LENGTH)! BAD THINGS IS THAT IT'S A LITTLE TOUGH SOMETIMES TO TRANSFER THE NOTES ONTO PAPER, THEN INTO MY TWO-PASS INPUT PROGRAM I CREATED ALONG WITH MY MUSIC-PLAYER. BY THE WAY, I USE SOME TRACK-WRITE JUMP TECHNIQUES IN MY MUSIC-PLAYER CODE TO SHORTEN THE MUSIC DATA...THIS TUNE TAKES UP 12 BLOCKS ON THE DISK. WELL, I DON'T THINK THIS IS BAD AT ALL - IT'S ONE OF THE FINER POINTS OF MY PLAYER. LIKE THE TUNE? I CAN TELL YOU IT GETS EVEN BETTER SOON. MY FIFTH TUNE 'SPEEDY GUN' EVEN HAS A SOLO (OR AT LEAST AN ATTEMPT AT ONE!) BOY WAS THAT HARD TO TRANSFER FROM THE AMIGA!!! YOU GUESSED IT, IT WAS! WELL. I'D LIKE TO GREET SOME OF THE OTHER MUZAK-ROCKERS AROUND THE WORLD THAT I ADMIRE VERY MUCH....NOT IN ANY SPECIFIC ORDER....HOWEVER I WANT TO SAY THAT THE FIRST, SECOND AND THIRD BEST IN THE WORLD IS ROB HUBBARD (OFF COURSE, N O T H I N G CAN BEAT HIS EVERGREENS), MARTIN GALWAY (I LIKE THAT SMOOOOOOTH BASS IN WIZBALL!) AND WE-MUSIC (WITH BEN DAGLISH, VERY EXCELLENT MUSIC-PLAYER) I WONDER IF I EVER GET THAT GOOD.... OH YES, THE LIST OF OTHER MUSIC-GUYS I ADMIRE: MICHAEL WINTERBERG (TOO SILENT IN THE START, BUT YOU GOT MUCH BETTER WHEN YOU BEGAN TO USE FILTERS. I MIGHT USE FILTERS MY SELF SOON - I'M CONSIDERING IT...), CHRIS HUELSBECK, BOGG, DEMON, EEEHMMM....YOU KNOW ALL ABOUT THIS SITUATION, DON'T YOU!! YOU JUST CAN'T REMEMBER ANYBODY WHEN YOU'VE GOT TO..... DAVID WHITTAKER DAMMIT!! HOW COULD I FORGET? HE'S ONE OF MY FAVOURITES!!! PERHAPS NUMBER 4 ON MY LIST...! ALSO THE GUY WHO MADE THE MUSIC ON FLOATING POINT, YOU KNOW, THE BREAK-OUT GAME....THE MUSIC'S CRAZY BUT I LIKE IT! ...JOHANNES BJERREGAARD, FRED GRAY (ALSO QUALITY), EEEHHM! I THINK I'LL STOP THE LIST NOW BEFORE IT GETS VERY ANNOYING! SORRY FOR MY BUGGED BRAIN..... I'M NOT GONNA SEND ANY ORDINARY GREETINGS OTHER THAN TO MY GROUP NEW MEN, CAUSE I HAVE NO(!) CONTACTS!
